Shih Tzu in the Summer Heat

With temperature rising remember to take extra special care of your Shih Tzu. They are more sensitive to the heat. Dogs cool themselves as air passes through the nose and Shih Tzu have very short nose's (Brachcephalic). So, basically a small (short) radiator to cool themselves with. Take walks, and make play time in the cool time of the days. Here at Amitzu Shih Tzu we really have to be careful living in California of the hot summer days. Enjoy
your summer days, and stay cool!
from sunny northern California
I love the puppies at all stages, but favorite is the small, tiny little Shih Tzu puppies!!
